This notice covers the Veliq eBay seller workspace. Getveliq is the trading brand running this service. Contact Mohit at mohitnicul@getveliq.com about privacy, access or deletion. The legal operator’s full identity, business structure and service address are still being finalised; live commercial payments remain disabled.
What we collect and why
We use your email, account identifier and authentication records to create and secure your account. We store your package, billing identifiers, verified subscription status, listing allowance, seller preferences, photos, listing drafts and activity required to operate the workspace. We record dated package acknowledgements and optional newsletter choices. We process service data to provide the service you request and security records for our legitimate interest in preventing misuse. Marketing relies on your separate consent.
Your photos and AI choices
Your photos are stored privately. The server checks your signed-in account, membership and photo ownership before returning an image. The normal browser upload flow resizes photos and removes embedded location metadata by creating a new image; avoid uploading people, medical records, identification documents or other sensitive information.
Choosing “Suggest groups with AI” sends up to 12 photos for visual comparison. Choosing “Prepare draft” sends all saved item photos (up to 12) and the listing hints you entered for analysis. You can group and edit manually without using these AI actions. AI suggestions can be wrong and cannot establish authenticity, functionality or hidden defects.
Optional photo links for CSV export
If you choose “CSV with photo links” and confirm sharing, the selected approved item photos become readable by anyone holding their export link for seven days. Editing or removing the saved draft invalidates those links. Original storage remains private. Uploading the CSV lets eBay retrieve and retain its own photo copies under its policies; Veliq link expiry does not delete copies already retrieved by eBay or another recipient. Keep the exported CSV secure and upload it before the links expire.
Service providers
Veliq is the customer-facing brand. We use Netlify for hosting and server functions; Supabase for account authentication, a database in Frankfurt and private photo storage; OpenAI’s API for the AI actions described above; and Stripe for checkout, subscriptions and payment-method handling. Account emails are sent through the configured Porkbun mailbox. eBay receives data only through an enabled connection and an action you approve. Veliq does not receive full card numbers or CVC codes.
We send AI requests with response storage disabled. OpenAI states that API content is not used for model training unless opted in, but standard abuse-monitoring logs may retain content for up to 30 days, with stated exceptions. We do not claim zero retention. Read the provider’s data controls.
Providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Provider processing agreements, transfer safeguards, retention settings and our complete processor register must be reviewed before live commercial launch. This pilot notice does not claim that all processing stays in Frankfurt.
Optional newsletters
The newsletter checkbox starts unticked. Signing up, choosing a package or completing checkout does not automatically subscribe you. With consent, we may email Veliq product updates, practical selling ideas, news, stories and promotions. You can change your preference through your account or use the unsubscribe link in each marketing email. Essential security and billing notices are separate. No newsletter campaign has been sent from this pilot.
Retention and deletion
Drafts and photos remain in your workspace until you remove them. Deleting a draft returns its photos to the upload tray; deleting an unused photo removes the stored photo. Listing-credit records remain to prevent trial reuse. Ask us to delete your entire account by email. We may retain records needed for legal obligations, security, dispute handling and a minimal marketing suppression record so you are not added back after unsubscribing. Backup expiry and the final retention schedule remain launch requirements; deletion is not a promise of instant erasure from every provider backup.
Cookies, access and your rights
The seller app uses authentication cookies and necessary browser storage to keep you signed in and provide the service. Its offline page contains no private inventory and private API responses are not cached by the service worker. No advertising tracking is configured in the seller app. The public website has its own privacy and cookie notice.
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, and withdraw marketing consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. Contact us using the email above; we may verify your identity before acting. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
